To get started, sign up below and upload 3 of your existing digital models by January 17, 2020. They can be 2D or 3D and uploaded in a wide variety of formats (see technical competition details). This is your qualification entry.
We’ll judge all entries and announce the qualified entrants on January 20, 2020. Once qualified, you will be invited to Phase 2 to start designing your competition model in BricsCAD.
You will have 2 months to finish your model (until March 20, 2020). In the meanwhile, Bricsys will organize a series of training webinars to help you improve your #BricsysOutOfThisWorld model.
Design your competition model
Combining your CAD experience, the live training webinars, and the written documentation, you should be able to start modeling your competition design.
Pick a track - Design or BIM (or both!) and start designing a model of something that can support life on another planet. You can enter solo or as part of a team. Once finished, you will be asked to create a design board, where you can explain the strengths of your design in relation to the theme.
The 1st prize is 1500 euros.The 2nd prize is a SpaceMouse Pro (worth 300 euro). The 3rd prize is a Spacemouse Wireless Connexion (worth 150 euro). There is also a Public Choice Award presented to the public’s favorite. Tag @Bricsys and use #BricsysOutOfThisWorld so we can follow your progress. The top 10 competition models will receive certificates of excellence and will be showcased on the Bricsys social channels.
